Biography

I was introduced to photography by my father when I was a child and begun taking photographs on a Zenith film camera.

My aesthetic perception was further stimulated and developed during my architecture’s studies which allowed me to attend classes on color composition, academic drawing, painting and sculpture.

I went on working as an architect but I soon returned to my early passion using now a digital camera.

My work has been greatly influenced by cinematography. Sharing visions and techniques from various film directors and technicians, as well as from the work and lectures of Vittorio Storaro. 

Movement, color composition, natural beauty, the purity of lines, the human expressivity and its power condensed in a laconic, minimal style, are the components at the source of my work.

My work as a photographer spans between portraits of actors and official personalities, family photos, advertising shootings and art projects where I have the chance to express my visions and social engagements with more freedom and vivid aesthetical impact.
